Description
The Cauldron (Ding) is the sacred bronze vessel in which food was cooked for offerings and guests: wood beneath, fire above. It represents culture, refinement and the transformation of raw material into nourishment, both physical and spiritual. The figure asks for a correct position, a firm stance and respect for what is entrusted to you.
The six lines
