Description
The Abysmal (Kan) doubles the water trigram: danger upon danger, a ravine within a ravine. Water does not fear the abyss; it flows on, fills each hollow, and keeps its nature. The figure asks for sincerity and steady conduct, and for learning to move through danger rather than avoid it.
