Dzi stone authenticity. How to choose

The way of Zen is a route not marked on the map of life.

Tibetan Dzi masters recommend two approaches to choosing Dzi beads for personal use.

The first approach is spontaneous and intuitive: you like a bead regardless of its intended purpose, fall in love with it, and feel “this is mine.” In this case, it is your subconscious making the choice. Often, after intuitively choosing a Dzi bead and learning about its meaning, a person realizes it’s exactly what they need.

Not everyone is relaxed enough or in tune with themselves to hear their intuition. The mind tends to wander and doubt. For this, there is a second way to choose a Dzi.

The second approach is more conscious: you study the meaning of many available beads, and calmly select several varieties, narrowing down to a few options. You set a goal and purposefully, consciously acquire the bead. You can involve your intuition in the final stage of the selection.

Tibetans believe that each Dzi bead is made specifically for the person who will receive it, and the magic of the Dzi will assist its owner at the right moment.
